Supporting Families Before and After Birth
We provide emotional, physical, and educational support to mothers to be and their families. Divine Peace Doulas serves families in the Northern Virginia, Washington D.C., and Maryland area. We also provide virtual support across the United States. It is our purpose to assist and empower families as they traverse through their birth experience. We will act as your mediator and advocate to communicate your needs to medical team.
Introducing Kalisha (Kali) King
Founder-president-owner Kalisha King is Labor Doula who unlike most other doulas has a background in emergency medical training. She has had a career as a New York State Emergency Medical Technician.
About Kali
She became interested in becoming a Doula because she wanted to give a voice to the many voiceless mothers that go through the healthcare system. Having herself being part of the voiceless and having high-risk pregnancies, she realized that there was vital information she needed that she was not told It became extremely important to her that her clients acquire and have access to important information, so they can make the safest and most informed decisions for themselves.
